At The Tofino Motel and Island Village Cabins we commit to the long term sustainability of the Clayoquot Biosphere and the village of Tofino in which we do business.

We measure our environmental friendliness by using Green Eco-rated products. Our tissues, toilet paper and paper towels are made from 100% recycled, chlorine-free paper products. Amenities are botanical based and provided in bulk sizes to help reduce the use of plastic.

We use only Eco-Max cleaning products, a 100% Canadian owned company, founded in April 1999 to replace hazardous and toxic cleaning products used in commercial buildings. The cleaning staff, hardworking people, are no longer exposed to toxic chemicals every day while doing their job. We use the best performing natural, non-toxic products on the market not only in cleaning products but also in our laundry. The laundry soap and the fabric softeners in the towels are also an Eco-Max product.
Our sheets and towels are 100% cotton.

We also provide Oughtred Source Sustainable Solutions Organic Coffee in every room. This sustainable coffee carries recognized social, economic and environmental certifications. We believe that quality and sustainability is the future and it is our intention to provide products that keep pace with the expectations of distinguished travelers visiting this spectacular part of the world.
